Best Robot Vacuum Cleaner and Mop
Robot vacuum cleaners and mops are a great way to quickly clean up mess. The top robot vacuums and mops in my tests are top-quality in navigation and mapping as well as the ability to remove Cheerios as well as tangled wires, and fake dog turds without leaving them behind.
They're also user-friendly with an app that lets you plan cleaning tasks and track what they're working on.
1. Roborock S8 maxV Ultra
The Roborock S8 MaxV is the most efficient robot mop and vacuum. It comes with the most recent features. This model of the highest quality is swift and agile, picking up debris like pet hair and human hair almost perfectly in our Debris Pickup Test. It also features a sleek app interface with a mini map of your home and a few buttons on the screen for manual control.
Another notable feature of the S8 is its ability to alter its cleaning mode in accordance with dirt levels thanks to its Dirt Detection technology. It will wash its mopping pads more often if it encounters dust. Carpeted areas get priority for mopping using mopping pads that are damp.

The mop roller has a number of other smart features, such as docks that connects to your home plumbing system to clean and wash it without you having to manually refill the mop. With the built-in voice assistant on the S8 you can make use of voice commands to set the cleaning mode of your room and provide precise control with just your voice.
2. Yeedi Cube
The Yeedi Cube offers a variety of options for those looking for a hands free robot vacuum with mopping capabilities. It's among the many combination robot vacuums that have mopping features that are also available at a lower cost than the competition.
Like all robovacs, the Yeedi Cube requires a little bit of work in order to start, including setting up an account with the manufacturer's app and connecting it to your WiFi network. After that, however, the robot can start vacuuming and mopping with ease.
It is important to remember that the mapping process could take some time and the Yeedi Cube may need a few tries before it gets a good picture of your room. The object detection is also hit-and-miss. It was able to maneuver around furniture and other obstacles but got stuck on a rug with tassels that it had to flip over to release itself. These are minor issues and the Yeedi Cube remains a great option for those looking for an all-purpose cleaning tool that can do all of the above.
3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete is a three-in one home cleaning solution. Its mopping technology is advanced and features the ability to rotate in a manner similar to hand scrubbing, which results in floors that are actually cleaned and not just being swept. The detachable stick vacuum is a game-changer that allows you to reach spots even a robotic vacuum can't.
The model is basically identical to the well-known X2 Omni but with a slightly higher suction power of 8,700Pa and a few other smart features. The RGBD sensor upgrade can learn your home's surroundings and provide an adaptive obstacle avoidance. The smart app allows you to alter a variety of settings including AI cleaning and virtual boundaries.
The X2 Combo also has self-preparation. Both the robot vacuum and mop return to their charging base at the end of each task to clean their pads and empty the dust bins, and place debris in bags that self-seal. This helps to keep the system tidy and stops allergens from returning to the system. The battery's life is enough to clean large areas without requiring an additional charge during cleaning.
4. Eufy S1 Pro
The Eufy S1 Pro is a premium robot vacuum and mop model that has impressive features for an affordable price. It has a strong 8,000 Pa suction power as well as a rotating brush for carpets and hard floors and an excellent obstacles-avoiding. It also features an unique mopping method that utilizes a roller continuously misting with water to capture dirt and deposit it in the water tank.
Its navigation technology performed well in navigating close to walls without crashing, and avoiding steps. However, it had trouble with fine engrained debris and was not always able to clear raised room thresholds. The operating noise level is also relatively high, so it may be a less reliable set-and-forget model than some.
Like many robotic vacuums and mop cleaners, the S1 Pro comes with a docking station that can replenish its clean water and empty its dust bin and mop pad, and wash and dry its mop. This makes maintenance simple and helps the S1 Pro to spend more time cleaning floors on a routine schedule. You can control all of its functions via the Eufy app. It provides an overview of the system and plenty of configuration options.
5. Freo X Ultra
The Freo X Ultra is one of the most premium robot mowers and vacuums available, and it offers amazing mixed vacuuming and mopping performance. Its LIDAR mapping sensor can recognize furniture legs and other obstacles with good accuracy, and the app lets users fine-tune map coverage, create no-go zones, and customize cleaning preferences. The main roller brush of the Freo is also designed to prevent hair from wrapping around it, which could be an issue for many robotic vacuums.
The Mop Mode is impressive too and comes with Reuleaux triangular mops that spin at 180 RPM and apply up to 12N of downward pressure. The mopping system is equipped with intelligent carpet detectors that raise the pads when they are near soft surfaces in order to keep them from getting contaminated.
The all-in-one docking station serves as a hands-free maintenance center that is able to wash and dry the mops before refilling them with water and detergent. The base station has an integrated dust removal system that compacts dust, allowing for 7 weeks of uninterrupted maintenance.
6. S10
This robot is only a few hundred dollars more than the S8 and does a fantastic job of keeping my office tidy. It also has the ability to reach the corners of my small apartment. It uses laser mapping and a camera to create a map of your home, so it knows where to stay away from. In addition, unlike other vacuums that have mopping capabilities, it has object/obstacle detection that avoids things like bowls and dog toys (but not poop).
Other fantastic features include a self emptying dustbin and a mop that is self-washing and adjustable for water temperature and an extended side-reaching brush that is able to reach areas that other mops cannot reach. You can also set your own cleaning schedule in the app and set custom the settings for each room in your home.
It features the same multi-room smart mapping feature as the S8 and is able to distinguish between laminate and carpets, with high-pile carpets. And, if you want to cut down on time, it can even skip cleaning rooms that aren't filthy. If you have several types of flooring in your house and don't want to invest additional money for a Roborock that comes with advanced mapping features this is an excellent option.
7. Q5 Pro
If you're looking for a versatile robot vacuum and mop that can handle regular maintenance as well as touch-ups to wet messes, this little robot is a good choice. It comes with a variety of features like the ability to empty the dustbin on its own as well as the water refill dock, and customizable settings in the app. It's surprisingly quiet, and it can move between furniture legs and socks effortlessly. It's unable to pick up knots in the rug, and its battery drains quicker than other models we've test.
The Q5 Pro, with a price of less than $250, is a beast that offers powerful suction and convenient automation in a sleek. robot vacuum hoover didn't perform as well as the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra in our tests for vacuuming however, it did very well. It comes with a variety of cleaning modes, ranging from the low power 'Quiet mode which is suitable for small debris to the powerful 'Turbo mode' for carpeted areas. It can even automate the removal and reattachment of mop pads, and not leave your carpets wet.
8. K10 Plus
The K10 Plus is an excellent robot vacuum and mop that can be used in small areas. It's very quiet and fast, and it is a great choice for navigating tight spots. It is also very good at removing pet hair off carpeting.
It's smaller than most of its competition however it doesn't sacrifice features. It has good suction power and can be set to take pictures of every object it chooses (i.e. chew toys socks, chew toys), and mark them in the app as "not located', so that they won't be taken up in subsequent cleanings. The photos are encrypted and not tied to you account.
It is capable of vaccuming but isn't as effective at mopping. It makes use of disposable wipes that are clipped to the bot's bottom, and then drags them across your floor. Compare this to the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra or Narwhal with water reservoirs and will automatically wash and attach their mopheads.
